As a black female artist, and a solo entrepreneur driven by passion and purpose every melt I pour, every product I craft, and every market I set up at is a step toward something bigger: a creative sanctuary where artistry, community, and craftsmanship come together.
This journey isn’t just about selling handmade goods; it’s about building a space where like-minded creatives can gather, learn, and grow together. The Crafthouse is my passion project, but more than that, it’s a movement to bring artists, makers, and dreamers together to build something great.
Our Vision for the future of The Crafthouse
The future vision for The Crafthouse is a physical physical sanctuary for creatives—a warm, light-filled studio and storefront where creativity and community thrive. Part artisan shop, part maker studio, our shop offers handcrafted goods, home décor, plants, ceramics, and wellness products all crafted in-house. The other half will be an accessible, multi-disciplinary creative studio where local artists, students, and makers can explore their crafts, collaborate, and grow. With dedicated areas for ceramics, outdoor projects, and communal events, The Crafthouse is more than a workspace—it’s a haven for self-expression, artistic risk-taking, and shared learning. Through local employment, free and low-cost classes, and intentional curation, we aim to transform passive consumers into empowered creatives.
